The Packing Saga Continues...

It's been a week today since we started packing. A week today since we put an offer on a house, rented an apartment, and decided to make this move. It's going so fast. Sometimes if I let my brain slow down I get scared, worried, stressed, sad, already missing my family, and best friend ever, and my girls at work and my hometown. But at the same time, I smile when I think of my kids running around those three acres, and how excited we all are at the idea of a new house, and how my boys are ready for football start, and how Kyle is excited and nervous all at once to be the man in charge of a middle school. I can't wait for figuring out where to put our Christmas tree, building a fire pit in the backyard, maybe planting a garden next summer, and just settling into our new home.

All that emotional crap being said (LOL!), the packing continues. In one week we as a family have successfully packed every room in this house except a few things in our bedroom and the kitchen. I'm hoping to have all that done today. Then we only have to move our big furniture to the garage, where it's going to stay until we close on the house and have possession. The packing portion of this move will be done. In a freaking week people!!! Still a long road to travel, but we've got an awesome family of 6 that works together as a team. Have I told you how proud I am of our kids? They have dug in and REALLY helped. :)

OK, back to the basement!! Just wanted to give you a little update!
