The House...

We are SO hoping this will be the house. We've offered, they've countered, and we've accepted, now we just need to get the financing finished and sign papers. Soon. Like, be in the house in 3 weeks soon. We've worked with an awesome realtor, the kids all loved him. He's an assistant JV football coach, farmer, hunter, and real estate agent! This house has been foreclosed on. It needs paint and carpet. And it's only 3 bedrooms upstairs, but has a full basement, we just need to finish it. And because I have BOYS, Cory and Brad are totally willing to sleep in the basement minus bedroom walls for now. I think they think it'll be nice to spread out. OH, and the house is on three acres too!

Here's a shot from the road:

The back side. The part that sticks out is the dining area. The window on the right is one of two windows on the corner where the kitchen sink is. To the left is the deck with sliders from the living room and master suite.

And the view from the deck. Yes, woods! And you can't see a house at all from the deck.

The kitchen from the dining area (the door goes to the laundry and garage):

From the kitchen looking at the dining area:

The master suite sliders to the deck:

Another view of the master, that is the bathroom on the right:

And part of the bathroom...that's a big walk in closet in the master bathroom :)

The second, main bathroom:

What would be Madi's room, thus Madi :)

And what would be Zach's room. We're under orders to immediately remove that ladybug wallpaper border!

Didds just chillin' in the linen closet!

A view of the living room from the corner nearest the kitchen. Love that deck back there!

And oh my Heavens, as Maria would say, here is the first floor laundry/mud room, on the first floor! Oh, and right off the garage. No more hauling laundry up and down stairs!

So there's the tour!

In other news we are packing, and packing, and throwing, and sorting, and getting ready. My mom's husband Rex's son is going to be renting our house with his wife and two kids. Crazily enough, they are moving back to the area and needed a place to rent. We've got the bedrooms pretty much all packed up, minus the desktop computer and a few other things. I am sorting for a garage sale, just to try to get rid of stuff without it becoming garbage. Of course, If I made a little cash, that would NOT hurt my feelings!

Well, that's where we are today! After two nights of sleeping 4-1/2 hours, I'm pretty dang tired tonight. Thinking this will be a good night's sleep!!
